hit n run

it just goes to prove that college girls really are [censored] morons. the wench just decides to back into me...if it wasnt for my insane honking, she may actually be in the morgue right now because i would have killed her. instead as i pull over to inspect the damage, she runs off...and her plate was so dirty and covered in snow, i couldnt even get a plate number!

but yeah, got a nice large scratch on my bumper. my question is, can you just only get a section of something painted? i have no desire to get my entire bumper repainted, and anyone have any idea about the cost of such a painting?

if anyone has any shops to recommend on long island, i'd greatly appreciate it (accident happened upstate, but i'll be damned if i let any of the locals touch my car).

Re: hit n run

When I got hit in the back they wouldn't just paint one section. The plastic parts (bumpers) don't match the body as it is so it would be hard to get the new spot to match the old. Basically you'd end up having 3 different colors. I was quoted a little over $400 for my rear bumper.
