im thinking about getting clear corners but i have noticed its really really really easy to take off. so theres a risk of getting them stolen right? is there any way to lock them or something?

they are as easy to take off as the stock ones.

Held by same two clips.

No diff.

The only lock you can use is a super glue

I would be careful with installing some type of locking mechanism on them. Most people who would steal them know they should come off easily, and when they don't, they may do more damage to the car than the clear corners are worth.

This is exactly why I left mine as they are. A new set of side markers is $35, but to repair the potential damage involved in stealing a set would be more.

Then again, I can see how frustrating it might be if you've had them stolen before.

arrgggghhh, this hits home. some meth user took both my clear corners when i was parked by the mall recently. i came back and thought, thats odd - somethings different. only after i got home and saw it in the light did i see the clear corners gone. im now back to rocking safety orange and hating it. need to pick up a new set soon....

Thats why I just painted mine the same color as the car. Most people don't even notice them.

it is what it is..good thing clear corners are cheap. rather lose them swiftly than having to replace a bumper.

i'm a fan of the amber anyway. if it happens, it happens. the ambers will probably get stolen too if they wanted it. so slap on the clear corners and leave it be. unless you have a motion sensor alarm. which reminds me, someone stole two of my "oem" tire caps. loserss
