Car not starting over as it should be?

Just like the thread states, lately my car has been turning over slowly. Not sure if I need a new alternator or a new starter? Any ideas what it could be, and where would I go to get something like this replaced. I'm out of warranty, so the dealership is out of the question. Another ? is how much is an alternator. Car has 68K on it, just replaced battery 2k miles ago, maintenance is up to date.

Thanks for the info.

sup nchima! my advise is to get a diagnos test first, that way you can pin point the problem.. an get it fix and save money.. guessing and changing parts out of your car is a bad idea it might not even be the alternator or battery..

wow...just go to Autozone and ask them to check your batter/alternator...and its free....from there you can go on diagnosing your self.... Most people always go the easy route of taking it to a tech, when if they would of just gave a 5min effort....
