bc, i always jump onto the frwy after i turn the corner, i always let it warm up in the morning for over 2 minutes. but sometimes when i'm in a rush, i switch it on, wait 30 secs, turn the corner, then gun it onto the frwy.

I heard that warming up just wastes gas and it's a better idea to just get on your way and take it easy for a while.

In my case, I might let it sit for 10 secs before I let the car roll out of my long *** driveway. That could take about 10-30 seconds depending on if there are other cars I need to squeeze by. Then I slowly drive to the end of my court, about 5-10 seconds. Then I drive slowly for another minute before I reach the freeway.

All in all, I think that's about equivalent to everyone and their 30-60 second warmups.

wow i didnt know... i thought i was doing good...

Everyday, I warm up my engine for like 5-10 minutes (I am living in GA). Then it striked me, why am I doing this??

Alright, to conclude:

WINTER & SUMMER: 30 sec warm up plus a slow gentle drive for 2-3 minutes until the temp gange reached at around half.

RIGHT?
