My car got broken into 2 nights ago and they stole the navi system with the head unit also. what im wondering is if anybody has installed an aftermaket flip up or something that i can buy the your old 1. i will be willing to trade for a dell laptop computer or whatever.

 

why not have insurance replace it?

Unless you've got a bunch of accidents or tickets, your insurance shouldn't go up. Plus, my guess the tab on replacing the factory nav would be around $3k-$3.5k. Even installing an aftermarket would be more than $500. An Avic-D3 alone goes for $800-900 then factor in the new JDM center trim panel and A/C controller.
