What the heck is PTY CAT???

What is this button for? its next to my CD and Radio buttons on the dash. I scanned the manual and couldnt find anything about it. is it for satelite radio?

yeah it is for sat radio, or whatever device you plug into that input in the headunit

I believe it's stands for "Program Type" and "Category"... that way you can search your radio for "hip-hop" "country" "Pop" etc and it jumps from station to station to find that type of music.
