They really are not. I took my car in to have it estimated and talked to the guy for a long time. He said they are no harder than any other paint job and it was much less than just having the car repainted the OEM black.

There is the guys work as well. He had a boxers car in the shop being painted and the paint job the guy had on the car was upward $250,000 - it was really insane. He also had a 69 shelby mustang being painted as well. The guys work is unreal.

If you want flat black, you could just use primer. I've seen many '93 Camaros like that and it looks cool.

Go'in Black again........!

My wife's Vet is painted with Benz paint and it's hard as a rock. Unlike Nissan
paint that's soft. A good painter could add anything you want to the clear
coat....pearl/flakes and you'd have the same good results!

get a gold base coat and then a jet black for the main color. it will look black but in the right light or in the sun the gold will come out and look amazing. my friend has this done on his 240sx and if i ever get my car painted, i'm definetly gonna get it

I wouldn't mind repainting my OB with Benz black. Hopefully it would hold up better than the paint Nissan uses.

I GOT THE CAR BACK~!!!

got it back on tuesday now im just waitin for a damn sunny day to take pics.... its been cold and overcast and raining all week

As soon as there is a break im givin it a quick bath and then ill post pics..... happy as hell with the turnout looks great!

never felt paint so smooth in my LIFE!!! lets just hope i can keep it that way....

on a side note... i bought the poly nismo front from klumzyee but my painter said he recommends i wait till spring time to paint for warmer conditions so the paint can adhere to the polyurethane better and then he will bake it... i trust him so ill wait

well the cost to paint my car was a lot cheaper just because my neighbor who works for a body shop did this as a side a job so all the income for labor goes straight to him so my whole car only cost about 2 grand and he is very repuatable...
if i took it to a normal shop im probably looking at close to 3500 to 4 grand im guessing...
car came out great and i went with a benz black with a small hint of metalic in the paint.....

and PINOY............ pics are comin!!! dont get your panties in a twist! haha just playin
