Driving up 57 in SoCal this morning, saw a black G Coupe about 1/4 mile up. It changed to the right lane and decelerated (intentional?) Gave the guy a thumbs up and a great big smile when I passed by. Got a "hey, you're-driving-a-G-Coupe-too" smile back. Made my day

I always try to smile and wave at other coupe drivers. but lately, all I run into are old fogies who don't give me the time of day =(

 

In the early 70's my parents had a vette. Other vette owners would wave, in the 80's I had a 69 mach 1, other mustang owners would wave, now i have a g35c (by the way most fun car since that mach). G35C seem rare here in RI, and no other drivers seem to acknowledge my wave. Maybe they think I want them to come over and help me clean the garage or something...

 

Fluffy, I KNOW, i have seen all of two Gcoupe drivers (or sedans for that matter) that are anywhere near my age (25).

I did once see one though. Not only did she adknowledge me, we raced for a few miles, unfortunately it was before I had my G!! (got my *** kicked by her btw).

Some mistakes are too much fun to only make once.

Today i saw two G35 Coupe in Canoga Park, CA & two on the 101 freeway. GOT NO LOVE. O well. I'll still give a thumbs up to every G35 Coupe i see. SO THERE. ;O)

In the late 60s/early 70s I owned two MGB roadsters and got waves and thumbs up from almost every other driver of same. Hasn't happened with my G coupe yet, but in fairness I've still had very few opportunities for it to. They're just beginning to be more commonly found on my well worn path...
