Oem Remote In The Washer And Drier Lmao

I never even noticed that i had left my OEM remote in my jeans and they got washed. I noticed a loud sound in the drier then i opened it to find my remote!!! I was like ***!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! then the first thing i did was go outside to see if it works. It works just fine, so in case all of you are wondering, our remote can go thru the washer and the drier and still work.. Its all shiny and smells good, i still cant believe its still working...water+tide.....heat....w.e haha im happy.DOMO

if you open it up, it's actually water proof unless there's a rip to the rubber or a crack in the case.

I have an aftermarket Viper remote fob. Got it wet and couldn't start my car. Had to bypass the alarm and get a replacement fob. xD Now I keep two backups.

If its the intellegent remote, its not too expensive to replace... its more expensive to re-program it!

PM if you need pricing!

The non-intel remotes are very easy to program...
but the keyless ones you keep in your pocket (which this one probably was) needs the dealer consolt tool to install...

i don't believe he is using the intel-key, just the normal key fob

What makes me think it was the intel-key... Who keeps the regular fob off of their keys?

unless the keys were in the wash too...

it was just a normal fob, i never knew it was waterproof lol. I have a viper remote start system, but the remote broke and ive been to lazy to pay $100 for another one...i dont really need it right now.
