Hi All. I just picked up a 06 Coupe yesterday, the key remote that came with the car looks pretty worn. My question is the top and bottom cover suspose to be fully "flushed" when closed together? Mine seem to be a bit opened on one side, shouldn't the dealership replace it for me or would it be cover under warranty?

I post some pics when I get off work tonight. Meanwhile I'll call the salesman to see if he can mail me one and I'll have my local dealer program it.

I just took these pictures. Since I just bought this pre-owned car from the dealer, should it be dealer's responsibility to get this replaced for me?

 

Have you tried opening the fob and try to figure out why it's not closing properly? Highly doubt the dealer will replace it but it's worth a shot!
