Re: HID foglights?
In my other car, I bought the Catz HID upgrade. They are a 9007 upgrade, so there is a relay in the base, to actuate the bulb up and down for low/high beam. They should work in the G35's combo fog/highbeams. (unless they aren't a 9007 bulb)
But anyways, when I installed them they were a huge improvement over stock. However, they aren't as bright as the stock HIDs in the G or TL. (Although, the reflector could've been just crap).
Too bad they don't sell those kits anymore. I heard they are illegal now, but never heard anything about when it happened.
Don't know if you'd want to have HID fogs though. Are you planning on this to have them look cool, or for them to be functional? I ask, because I have PIAA superwhites in the fogs of my wife's TL, and they suck for use in the fog, they just glare off the fog. Admittedly, those aren't anything like HIDs, but still... The Dichoric-yellow fogs I have in my other car are awesome in the fog.
