G35ers take the Z tube to replace the G35's stock tube from the throttle body to the MAF.

The Injen CAI (Cold Air Induction) is a whole tubing system from the throttle body to the MAF, then a tube from the MAF to an air filter element that replaces the Stock Air Box.

Here are the dyno results from a dyno day last year. the guys with Injens Dynoed less hp then the stock cars. my car is listed twice, one is stock and one is with the Z tube.

No disrepect intended to the people with Injen's, I'm just relaying what I've seen.

All 6MT pulls were done in 5th gear and 4th gear for the automatics on a Dyna Pack machine.
