Hi I am a new member. Just posting what happened to me.
3 days after I got my car, this dumb girl hit me front the back.
And now there is scar. Has this kind of thing happened to anyone else?

 

sorry to hear your car was damaged...
Alot of people so far have run into minor and major accidents...luckily no body seemed to be hurt.

If the damage isn't too bad you could have it repaired...if not have them replace the rear bumper and be done with it....

Her insurance should cover the costs since she hit you from behind....

yeh i got had the same problem.
this lady decided she wanted to rearend me 13 days after i got the car
but i did get a whole new bumper out of it

Your lucky man. I didn't even get covered, instead I almost got charged with assault when I was the victim. Damn girl was trying to leave the scene and I tried to stop her by not letting her start her car. Had no idea this would be assault.

 

If you layed a hand on her, then yes you can be charged with assault. If you simply reached in and shut her car off, I would bring that to court and defend yourself. Sorry to hear about that though....My G already has a nice scar on it, before I bought this car (from my father) something kicked up in the road during one of the last snows (prolly a big chunk of ice or something of that size and mass) and hit the lower left corner of the front bumper. Didnt damage the bumper at all, but tore the fiberglass under the side marker approx 5 inches across. Thankfully, the new front end wasn't as expensive as I thought it was going to be.

 

You need not touch someone to be guilty of assault. Not that I care or anything - I just thought I should share my knowledge.

As for the early damage to the G - I personally got the new car door ding from someone. But that is sorta par for the course here in Los Angeles.

sorry for the vent, but with this whole era we live in where everyone has to sue everyone else, some people just need to have their *** kicked and suck it up.

I agree with you guys...should have kicked that dumb broads a**...as for leaving the scene, I would have let her..then got her license plate in NJ..that is jail time if I remember correctly and a VERY expensive fine on top of that too...if you can't hit them physically then hit them financially

damn. thats really messed up. I dont think I should be complaining about my little accident anymore. some people here have had some messed up things happen to their car. good luck with your next ride.
