i cant tell the difference whether the car has an aero kit or not.. specifically a 2005 g35 coupe

The only difference thats visibly noticeable is the spoiler. You've never seen one with or without?

Well it also has some underbody diffusers, but unless you track the car you wont notice the difference. Maybe not even then....
and thats it.

 

What about the front lip and splash guard thingaroos? I always thought that was part of the aero kit too. Although mines a 2004, not sure if the 05's had a lip option, heh.

 

are those white things behind the tires the underbody diffusers?

 

^LOL no those are the splashguards. The diffusers are literally under the body, you'd probably have to lift the car to see them

Hey Tjeh that front lip and splashguards come as options I think, but its not aero

 

The lip and splashguards were options and not part of the aero package. The under body diffusers are just black plastic pieces to help the airflow around the rear suspension area and the rear wing.

Rear Bumpers are exactly the same on all 2003-2007 G35 Coupes.

03-05 Rear spoilers dubbed the Ironing Board or Larger spoilers.


06-07 Rear Spoiler is pictured above on the red car.

03-05 Front Lip Spoiler
06-07 Front Lip Spoiler (fits all NON-SPORT 06-07 Bumpers)


2003-2005 Front Bumper (with JDM Fog Light Kit)
2006-2007 Non-Sport Front Bumper (with JDM Fog Light Kit)


2006-2007 Front Bumper had a notched front lip moulded into the fascia...


Front & Rear Splash guards are optional on all coupes... The design of the rear Sport Splash guards are slightly more aggressive looking and will fit all models... The Front 06-07 Sport splash guards will only fit sport side skirts (pictured below)
