gas

i have been running 93 octane in my car what would happen if i put 87 in there? would it **** the car up?

oh boy, here we go again:

YES if you are an agressive driver, no if you are taking a road trip an have cruise control on the whole time

Is it really worth taking a chance @ $2-3 a fill?

I will never have 87 in my tank, nor 89, PURE 91/93 FOR ME!

Like meister stated...if you're a long distance driver, it's not a prob but I'd get minimum 89.

yea i am going to stick with super. i was just asking because of friend of mine said she used to put in 87, but i didnt no what to tell her as far as if she did any damage to her car by doing that

on a side note I paid $57 for 15 gallons of 91 octane today.

Yea California!

Chevron could at least send me flowers after that a$$raping

Don't do it! I was trying to save a few bucks and as soon as
I inserted the 87 octane nozzle - BOOM!!!

regarding mpg, I'm averaging roughly 15.5-16mpg, which is probably 80% city, but regardless, I figured I would ATLEAST get 19mpg for mainly city driving. Is this normal for you guys?

you will never get 19 mpg mainly city driving.

at BEST, you will get 16-17 mpg city driving only, depending on how hard you push your car, regardless of which gas you use
