Re: Who will trade 03 for the 05 coupe?

no offense but only one person mentioned he is interested in the GTR. I think the rest of the posters were saying they are happy with their current 03s.

nevertheless, count me in with the group that loves the current interior, it's awesome. It's an excellent combination of style & class and a new flavor of automobile interior design. I even like the fact that it doesn't use the traditional **** controls for audio/temp.

Seems like they are making the '05 G alot "older", like the benz/beemers, to satisfy their target audience.

I'm glad the GTR was brought up. I won't change my 04 for an 05, but I would change it for the 08 GTR. (08, one year after the first production year, to get any major glitches out).

Black / Black 2004 GcoupeMT. Premium. Splash Guardz.

I have 4 payments left on my bank note and this baby is all mine. I like not having to owe the bank. Unless a turbo comes out, I'll be keeping the '03.

I didn't like the interior at first but it grows on you.

Hey Mixed, where did you hear 70-80K? The only prices that were thrown around here and ANYWHERE regarding the GT-R was 49-52K. Now imagine trading in the car for an 05'. You would be taking a good 8-10k hit on top of the 34k already taken for the purchase of your vehicle. You've already paid what, 43k? Come up with a measly 7 and you have a GT-R in your hands... Don't be an ASSumist

Ghosen has stated that the main competitor of the GTR is the 911 (presumably Turbo). I'm guessing $60-$70k myself. Remember that this is supposed to be a flagship car that people want but can't afford :P

oh yes, lthe people who want to trade up or realise that they cant afford it, will take the big depreciation hit. they will lose out on thousands while you get the bargain!! for those who trade up usually has the money to not even care much.
