How hard is it to replace the reservoir tank?

Anyone replaced this morning? Today I accidentally cracked it and now there is a crack and I'm afraid the coolant will evaporate if I don't replace it. Is it hard to replace it?

Also, how hard is it to replace the raditor core support assembly? My car was stuck in the snow and the guy put the tow hook there and it ripped a piece off of it (that's how my reservoir tank was ripped). I wonder how much an auto collision shop would charge..

Thanks

I would make the tow company pay for their mistake.......Our cars come with a tow hook under the front bumper......

actually.. it wasn't a tow company. It was some nice old man willing to help. But he messed it up.. so I couldn't really say anything.

you realize that the next time this happens, you should get the tow hook out of the trunk and screw in into the hole in the front bumper and use that to pull the car out when if it gets stuck.

The coolant reservoir is easy to change. Is that all that was damaged? You said a chunk of something, got pics?

screw it into which hole in the bumper? Obviously I never had to dealt with these BS since I never lived in a snow city before.. this is the first time....

Honestly, I wasn't thinking right and shouldn't let him hook there. I knew it would cracked, but my only thinking was to get the car tow out of the street so I don't block any more people.

The tank is very easy to replace. Remove one 10mm bolt. Pull up on the tank, it slides out. Disconnect hose. Installation is the reverse of removal. The radiator core support is probably much more involved, I'm not sure what is required for that. Please let us know how it works out!
