Causing a stir

My dad just came home and said while he was filling up at the gas station 2 different people came up to him and complimented him on his pearl while coupe. one guy said i saw you all the way back at the supermarket and was behind you all the way here. the other guy wanted to have a closer look at it. they are great looking cars, no doubt about that!

Re: Causing a stir

I know what you're saying. It's strange to me since I've been driving a Toyota for the past 12 years that no one cared to look at. Now I get compliments and stares every time at stop lights, getting gas, etc.

On the other hand, I also get some 'haters' with comments like 'Not a BMW, the interior is ugly', etc. The funniest response I noticed is from someone that I don't even know. Someone in my office building has an older M3 and no matter where I park, he parks beside me. Needless to say I park far away from anyone else and he never parked out that far before I bought my G35. Now he parks beside me no matter where I park. Not sure if he's admiring or trying to say something else. Kinda funny though that someone puts that much effort (and walking) into making a statement whatever it may be.

F*** ALL THE HATERS man

its all about what you like not what they like, if they like bmw let them go and buy it, i personally think bwm and benz are way over priced for the car that they are.

Maybe he wants a million dollar car (G35C) to look even better by parking his trash box beside it. Look out for door dents from that douche. I'd park in a spot where you can gain a little room in the lines so no one can get close enough. Plus we have 15 foot doors it seems.

Re: Causing a stir

Pretty funny. I usually park next to nicer cars expecting less chance of getting a door ding. It's paid off so far. But paired up out in the back 40, ya gotta wonder. Probably spends 5 minutes oogling at the G after parking. ...dean

A girl pulled up beside me while I was filling up for gas yesterday and asked some questions about the car and gave some nice compliments. It does get attention.

Sounds like the guy (gal) likes the Coupe and enjoys looking at yours...... Besides, parking beside an M3 isn't all bad, that's a nice car too, and definitely not the door-banger type.

timberwolf just out of curiosity, what color is yours? Seems like the ladies respond mostly to red.
