well since your coming from that kind of beast the G is going to feel slow but it really isnt. and since your going to add all those goodies

youre going to surpass the quickness of your M3. 400hp is very easy on the stock block, after that youre rolling the dice

although people have surpassed that number by a couple hundred on a stock block. I personally think the handling is great on the car,

but then again i've never driven an M3 to compare. nothing some coilovers and sways cant fix though.

^^Since you will be modding it I sugest new suspension so the handeling is good and a TT setup so the power is good. It will give the M3 a run for its money. Then if you have extra cash, get a built shortblock/clutch. You will put out about 400+ HP easily with have a good motor to back it up since it is built. Could go 500+ with the right setup.

ive heard many horror stories of the block on the vq cracking with too much power and it does scare me a little. i found a g35/350z tuner close to my house in jersey so i will be heading down there tomorrow to see what kind of numbers i could put down and keep it safe.

If u want to find out how good/bad the G35 is check the track/autocross section of the forum where actual knowledgeable guys have their thoughts on stock and modded g35s. These types of threads are usually created by insecure kids that wanted M3s their entire lives, its just their mommy and daddy did not get them that, they got them the G35.

The reality is that the G35 is a low 14 car with well balances chassis. The fact is that this car benefits from every little suspension upgrade that u do on it.

Most of the FI guys here say that if you keep it under 400 WHP, you are fairly safe with stock internals. It also has to do with your driving style and how much time you spend at WOT.

i have another car i use for commuting, but i wont lie i beat the hell out of the car sometimes and drive it like it should be driven. i really started to think about the G when i got my a$$ handed to me by a twin turbo G. this thing was nasty and i could not keep up with up. but that got me thinking and now i want one, there cheaper than the m3 which is good and i have a buddy that works for infinity so i could get a nice discount.

I think he is talking about the actual purchasing of the car, not the parts.
