Man, what part of "I own an M3 and an FI G" don't you understand? I have both cars, I get in one, turn it on, mash pedal, I get in the other, turn it on, mash pedal. FI G >> M3. I mean, I feel for you if YOUR G is slow, buy hey, it's kind of like dating. Some of us work hard to get hot chicks and others get the fat ugly ones, luck of the draw. Just because yours is fat and ugly doesn't mean mine is.

Lil s2k smoked the G on every roll... hahah.. And the G35 has a larger motor and a V6.... I know, the G is TORQUELESS. hahah.
The G was also stock and the s2000 had mods . Yes the G has a larger motor (yes it has a v6, goodjob), but also weighs a **** ton more. Take a stock s2000 and a stock g35 and race them. Its nothing but a drivers race.

Infiniti G35 coupe - V6 3.5L (280 hp) 6M + ABS - 0-60MPH = 6.15, 1/4 miles = 14.73 @ 99.2
Very fair assumption. Please find me a stock g35 that runs 14.5 or better on the 1/4 mile (with the non rev up motor).

Actually now that i think about it find me a lets say 10 that run better than 14.5. There area few here and there that do put down low 14's, but the 03-04 g35 6MT are a mid 14 second car. Anyone on here that has been here a while knows this.

Infiniti G35 coupe - V6 3.5L (280 hp) 6M + ABS - 0-60MPH = 6.15, 1/4 miles = 14.73 @ 99.2
Here are a few more numbers for you from other sites.

Supercars.net
0 - ¼ mile 14.6 seconds
0 - 60 mph 6.0 seconds
0 - 100 mph 14.5 seconds

MSN auto's
1/4 miles = 14.73
0-60 mph = 6.15
0-100 mph N/A

Car and Driver
1/4 mile = 14.6
0 - 60 mph 6.0

Motortrend
1/4 mile = 14.2-second (after a year of testing and driving)
0 - 60 mph 5.8

Auto Media
0-60 "A hair over 6 seconds"
1/4 = N/A

So please tell me that saying a stock g35 being a mid 14 second car isnt a fair assumption. Even if MSN says the g35 has slower numbers than what you really think it is then assume the same thing for the m3 and 645I. All things will stay constant. Im sure they test their cars in the same locations so if the g35 is really .2 seconds faster than what they say it is then just take .2 seconds off of the m3 and 645I.

Your post just blows my mind. Its rediculous actually.

Not completely disagreeing with you, but motortrends numbers always are lower than everyone elses.

Its the engine that comes on 05 and up manual transmission G35's. It basically has a higher redline and has

variable timing control on the exhaust valves, not only the intake valves like the non-revups.

Just leave the "Doctor" alone. He has been making false statements(such as tire wear, enigine info, and times as you said.

Doctor we buy the car for the love of it, atleast most of us do. If we want to be a racecar we would buy something else. FI in our cars is fun, lots of fun. But seriously how can you compare a G on a 1/8 when our takeoff is horrible? Just to let you know, the driver wins races.(PERIOD END OF STORY) The car only helps make it easier.
