test drove both of them and originally wanted the rx8. the rx8 6mt shifts more smoothly and is easier to drive. i could shift like i had owned the car my whole life. also it hugged the corners like it was on rails.... but other than those two items the G kicks its ***. most importantly is the fickleness of the rotary. if you are buying the car for a daily driver .... you don't want the rx8. the reliability is just not there. if you are using it for pleasure on the weekends, then you may want to consider it.

like cookielover said. test drive both and read the forums. the rx8 site is loaded with lots of big and small complaints from owners.
