Mine has always flashed twice and beeps the horn once when I lock it, and flash once and no horn when I unlock. You can reprogram the remote to perform a different sequence.

To reprogram:
- Hold down both the lock and unlock buttons on the key fob at the same time for about 10 seconds.
- Then release

Now try unlocking and locking your vehicle. You will now notice that when locking there is no flashing and horn, and when you unlock the lights just flash once or twice. If you don't like that setup you can always revert to the previous setup by performing the same programming.

my accord is the opposite, flashes twice for unlock and once for lock, with no horn unless you push lock a second time.

i like the g's setup better, except i wish the horn was an electronic beep.

i know there is a mod from kptech for this, but they really should have just made it like that from the start

Mine does the same!

I would like it to flash when unlocking as well. I guess, I should read the car manual.

i just reprogram mine today... i wanted the lock lights to flash twice (no horn) and unlock one flash (no horn) but i can't get it to work that way.

it's either
Lock : two flash (no horn)
unlock: does nothing

or

lock: two flash (horn blow)
unlock: 1 flash (no horn)

I think I can live with option 2.
Thanks!

window up using the keyfob is not a factory option unfortunately. you have to use the key. there is a module from kptech though that does accomplish this. hit lock twice and windows roll up using the module.

Actually it's just the opposite... hitting lock once locks all doors and arms the alarm, and hitting unlock the first time is driver's door, second time all other doors.

The blinks are simply what has previously been described in this thread.

aren't there 2 more settings hidden that CONSULT-II can access?

IIRC, you can use CONSULT-II to program it to flash twice (lock/flash once(unlock).

EDIT, there are actually 4 other settings that can only be accessed with CONSULT-II

Hazard and Horn Reminder Mode (key fob allows you to choose between modes 1 & 2, but there are 4 others)
Mode 1 (C Mode): Lock = 2 flash, 1 horn /// Unlock = 1 flash, 0 horn
Mode 2 (S Mode): Lock = 2 flash, 0 horn /// Unlock = 0 flash, 0 horn
Mode 3: Lock = 0 flash, 0 horn /// Unlock = 0 flash, 0 horn
Mode 4: Lock = 2 flash, 0 horn /// Unlock = 1 flash, 0 horn
Mode 5: Lock = 2 flash, 1 horn /// Unlock = 0 flash, 0 horn
Mode 6: Lock = 0 flash, 1 horn /// Unlock = 1 flash, 0 horn

Can you explain to me what CONSULT-II and IIRC are? (Too lazy to search right now.) Also, if those modes are available, are they accessible (can the code be "cracked") without the KPTechnologies mod?
