I think it will depend mostly on where you are -- just about anywhere but the most remote areas are going for invoice or more. I paid invoice for my 6MT and had 3 people on the waiting list behind me ready to do the same if I balked.

Re: Advice before I order my G35c

Invoice price for a 6sp/navi/aero/Premi is about 33500. I received this infomation from the Fleet Manager I been working with for about 2 months now. When dealing for your car, deal with the Fleet Manager. Call around and find who the fleet managers for each location you are going to and talk to them, make an appointment with them if you have to. This is the fastest way to get one even if you have to order one, plus if there is one that you like that is being shipped in, the fleet manager is the first to know when it gets there and they can put you on top of the list before anyone else.

But like everyone states, it depends on your location. If you live in SoCal (LA, San Diego) expect to pay about MSRP for the car. This car (Especially 6sp with everything) is hard to get. Only 15% of all the Coupes shipped to the US are 6sp. So about every 25 coupes that come into the dealship, 2 of them are 6sp. (Unless the others are special orders)

Extra advice, when you are going to deal for the car and you are going to do a trade in. DO NOT tell them that you are going to do a trade in at first. Get a good price and get it in writing from them. After you get it in writing, then talk about the trade in...

Good luck and don't let them add crap to the car that you don't need. Tell the Fleet manager that when he tells you that the one you want is coming in.

Darren,

Don't you mean MSRP or more? I do not know any dealer that is going to let you get your car for less than MSRP. Maybe just a couple of hundred off MRSP. A fully loaded 6SPD / Prem / Nav / Aero is going for $ 37,465.00.
If you paid invoice then you should have only paid $ 34,249.00

Re: Advice before I order my G35c

I posted on my experience before...
essentially what I got was a fully loaded 6speed ... missing nothing.

I got them to throw in the Diamond Kote stuff ... which I was told was worth a thousand bucks, after all of the posting about the Diamond Kote, I think maybe I shoulda went for the grand off, but whats done is done.

So my advice is to try for a G off and see where it gets ya.

Total out the door was 59,850.00 CAD Canada Dollars =
39,756.76 USD
United States Dollars

Later Gs

Re: Advice before I order my G35c

I'm with DC, the 6MT is a hot, scarce car. Shoot for 1k under MSRP. Other options I'm thinking of is to have them offset MSRP with options like drilled pedals, tinting and chrome but suspect I won't have the dealer do the last two. One tactic is to find the car (but it's not the right color but you know who has the right color), get the price down as much as you can then take the deal to the other dealer and see if they'll match. Usually they do. I haven't noticed too many sales going under MSRP by more than $500. The car's hot but it's been out a few months now so some softness in MSRP might exist. Good luck. ...dean

You could get that price if you drop the Nav. I'd be shocked if you could get both premium and nav for under $36k, and that's pre-tax.

Re: Advice before I order my G35c

Yep. You be lucky to get a couple of hundered off but I know allocation for Nav and Prem Coupes are very low. Most of the coupes coming to US is non Nav now. Something about Nav Coupes accounts for 10% to 15% and the rest does not have Nav. At least that is what most the dealers in Metro NY tells me.

Good Luck Hunting!
