I have an 06 6MT with 12K miles; bought it used in December.
I took it in to the dealership for the first oil change and to have state inspection done. Everything checked out fine but as I drove off the lot, the car stalled. I restarted it and pulled away. I got it into first gear and the car lurched when I hit 2,300 rpms, almost like I had hit a wall.
I quickly shifted into second, same thing at 2,300. Same in third. I immediately turned around and brought it back to the dealer.
The service manager ran a diagnostic and said it wasn't throwing any codes, and everything looked fine. He and I went out on a test drive and it was fine. It's been fine since.
He said that occassionally the throttle can get glitchy and if something like that every happened again, to just restart the car. This sounded like a less-than-perfect explanation, so I wanted to see if anyone can explain this?
