Nothin but a G thang...

hey ya I finally became a member of the G family last week. Got D/G G35 coupe 6MT and got spoiler and primium. Sticker was 36,300 and got it for 34,600. Was it a good deal? And also, how hard is it to get an aftermarket sub installed yourself? Man it looks like it's a byatch to take the middle console out to hook up. And also do I have to take out the factory sub? Man the bose system sux I also took out the front plates but there are 2 holes in the front for the screws is there anyways to cover it up? And also do I have to put in primeium gas all the time? Does it hurt to put in 91 octane? Ok enuff questions for now and great forum. See ya

Is primim a new package? Did you try play-doh to cover up the license plate holes?

It says in the owners manual what octane to use. I thought it was atleast 93 but I could be wrong.

Re: Nothin but a G thang...

I don't know why everyone thinks the Bose sounds so bad. It's head and shoulders above most other stock systems. I had a 2K2 maxima before the G, and I thought the Bose in there didn't sound very good. The bass wasnt boomy enough, and the highs weren't that great. The G sounds completely different, in my opinion. High volume, low volume, it sounds good to me. Maybe it has something to do with the smaller interior space or something, but I think the Bose sounds pretty decent.
