I know there has been lots of complaints about our stock HID lighting, so I had an extra set of Osram bulbs that came out of the stock MB CLK, so I used it and here are the results. I am very happy with it!! There are limited loss of lumens, but still very satisfied with the output. Here are some pictures with a short video. Let me know your thoughts!! Thanks!!

Could you please describe in detail the differences the new bulbs made and also why you replaced the stock bulbs?

 

Its hard to see the difference that made from those pics. How do you like the change?

 

I should have taken a picture of the before and after pictures of the swap. If you take side by side pictures, you can tell that the stock bulbs are more yellow, where as the new bulbs have more of a blue hue to it and a hint of purplish.....

 

should have bought the philips 6000k.they look much better.

 

If I wanted to replace my stock HID Xenon lights.. what bulb size should i be looking at ?

babboyg200 you can go with D2S for the unshielded ones, I have heard that even when its not shielded, it will not blind on-coming traffic. There are a couple people who have it here and in FA. If you want the purpleish looking ones, they are more expensive, I have seen them for about 250~300 a pair. They are called Phillips Ultinons. I didn't buy these lights, it was actually taken from a MB CLK.

 

should have just kept your stock bulbs. waste of time installing new bulbs that look just like how the stock ones did.
