Noise reduction??
Noise reduction??
I love my G35c, and I enjoy riding it.
But, sometime I tries to talk on the phone and it's road noise is pretty big that it's hard to hear the person on the phone(I only use hand free while I am driving). I was wondering if there is anything that can be done to reduce the road noise( not exhast). I had this broucher from the Infiniti dealership(something called touch of class?) that there is some underbody cover or something to reduce road noise... I was wondering anyone else know anything about it.

Re: Noise reduction??
I was able to reduce the inside noise by 2-3db (equivalent to 50% and 2-3 notches on radio volume scale) by applying BQuiet Extreme (www.b-quiret.com) to the floor under the carpet and to the "firewall" in the engine compartment. I also used QuietCar (www.quietcoat.com) "paint" inside wheel wells. Total cost about $100 and 4 hours of work. Big difference. QuietCar can be applied also to the underbody to reduce transmission noise.
I'm also planning to change tires, once my current Pilots wear-out, to Sport AS. These produce much less noise.
Too bad Nissan didn't do it. Small effort and cost - significant difference.
