Could have died the other day in the G, medical reasons.

Im stuck at home guys and a little shook up so bear with me. My started with a nice drive in my g35 coupe up nearby mountain just cruising not really driving fast (testing out my new x-pipe on my greddy evo 2 though). Normal drive that day, I go home and get ready for work as usual. About half way through my shift as a waiter (Olive Garden while Im in college), and I start feeling really strange like a mix between light headed and dehydrated. Next thing I know, another server goes to talk to me while Im leaving a table and I have no idea where I am, what Im doing, or what to do.

After a long night in the hospital, the doctors tell me that the new allergy medication that they gave me about 3 weeks ago caused an allergic reaction in my body. They said it created a toxic state that contrstricted the blood vessels in my brain, affecting blood flow for a short time thus my confustion and disorientation. Prior to this I no known allergies to medicine or food and doctors had me taking that certain medication for 3 weeks, it finally hit.

Scary thing about it that I took the allergy pills at 10 am, drove the g35 up a mountain (6,000 feet and no guards rails on some corners) for a cruise and it luckily hit me at 8:30 pm instead of right away. Also when I left work, I got in the G to drive to the hospital and I didnt know how to drive my own car!!! Luckily I hit call twice on my cell phone and my brother came and got be, and took me to the nearest hospital.

Makes you think how lucky we are and how fast things can be taken away. Freak incident but Im a little worried it might be one of the other three allergy medications I was taking. Doctors say Ill be fine in 48 hours when its out of my system but .

Wow... if I were you I'd avoid driving at all until you know for sure what medication or combination of medications caused this adverse reaction.

Glad to hear you're OK - be safe!

a reminder to be very careful with any type of medication!!! at least until you know how your body\mind reacts.

Pleased to read that nothing more came out of your situation. Yes, things can change in a hurry and without much warning. Every day is a gift.

hope you're doing okay, but you have to admit the situation is kind of ironic... you were allergic to allergy medicine.

that must be scary,
Another reason to stay way from any kind of medication. Since 14 years of age i can count how much medication i have taken even when i had fevers and flues.
