the city workers are trying to keep up with the potholes but they cannot... so what they do to solve the problem is they just throw asphalt in it and whack it with a shovel.. However the next time it snows/rains the asphalt will come loose and there will be a bunch of little rocks everywhere.

Why I oughta.....
I have a major love affair with the Socal area.... If only I could get myself to leave everything I'm used to here and move there.

NOOOooooooooooooooo!!!!
I am sorry to see that damage to your wheel....looks like you hit TMOAPH...
(The mother of all pot holes.....)
It's good you have stock wheels...as some have said here. It should be
easy to have it replaced than a custom one.
Glad you are Ok....and yeah I think it is the city's fault the pot hole was not
fixed or at least not spotted and put some kind of warning sign to avoid
the hole.
Good luck in getting it fixed.

I am going to be calling around tomorrow and have some places fax me a written estimate to replace the stock rim and turn that into the city. See what I can do from here.
