dont get one.

the g might not be as fast as the evo or sti around a track, or even at the drag strip. but it looks better doing it.

Evo will be much faster than the G, and G's cost alot more to mod fyi.

I had a Corvette before I got my G coupe. I loved the Vette's looks and power but when it became a mechanical nightmare the G was the only car I considered. It was the best mix of looks, features, sportiness and reliability. Sure it's not as fast as the Vette, but it's not in the shop either.

I just graduated college and have a "real" job now. I was driving an RSX type-s with some upgrades until I totalled it a few weeks ago. I always had to defend the rsx (ex. "yeah, but its quick and cheap") I don't have to defend the G.

That sold me! haha.. im stuck in the same situation as the TS. Steppin outta a turbo'd RSX-S though. It's time to step outta the Ricer scene, Bought a civic...turbo'd it...bought an integra...turbo'd it.. bought an RSX.. turbo'd it.. Game over now! Really diggin the G.

Sorry to jack the thread, but keep on convincing us

me im only 21 i went through a stock integ i wanted faster so i went with a civic hatch and droped mods in it, then i kept getting tickets speeding/tinted windows/modifyed exhaust so i gave up. i test drove a whole ton of cars, rx8, vw gti, 350z, lexus's,evos, minis, bmws, scion, (i stayed away from honda and acura). i liked the evo but hated the dealer ship they wouldnt let me test drive the one i really wanted due to them "not wanting to put miles on the car" so they made me test drive some older one which i wasnt to fond of. after looking I seen a G i didnt even know what the hell it was truthfully. all i know is i seen it and i was like "WOW WHATS DAT!" sat in it, test drove it, fall in love. that weekend bought it. and since then im not regretting 1 bit. i get ALOT of compliments on the car, alot of head turners, it has enough power for now till i get to use to it then have to drop a SC in it :-D.

I hear what you're saying and can completely relate, I had a 2005 Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution VIII,(they're super fast) but anyways its a great car and I had mine for 2 years before getting rid of it, that was hard to say goodbye. As far as the G35 I have an 04 coupe loaded and the second I drove it I fell in love, the car was great and drove so much smother(but obviously not as fast). I miss the sound of the turbo spool but in the summer with the windows down there is no better sound than the g35 exhaust. Not to mention its a way better daily driver and the ladies love it.

nah, i was street tuned not dyno tuned, more reliable and better for daily driver. i was saying roughly 350 to the wheels comparing to the people i have raced, from STIs to aston martins to turboed civics.

I went for the G for the same reason got a 5AT, tiptronic works great if you want to shift. BTW you WILL get the mod bug again, maybe not engine but exterior parts.

I thought the G was fine for about 4 months... now im modding...lol

First off, the evo 9 turbos are amazing, so a little bit in mods and your gaining crazy HP. My friend got tuned on a stock engine and hit 305 to the wheel with the evo 8 (smaller turbo) I raced my dads vanquish s (540hp) and beat him from 0-110, the cars sick, i dont think your inetrga could take it lol.

i beg to differ. i dont want to get in a grunt match with u so i will let the fax talk, i dont use butt dyno to tell me how much hp i have lol . let me give u some advice, since u need convincing to get a g dont do it, ur not going to be happy with it your just going to fool yourself in to say you like the car, then your going to end up either modding it like crazy so you will like it or selling it and getting a evo again.
