Try the battery dude.

Take it off tonight and connect it back on tomorrow morning.

If you get same **** then plenum is deff leaking.

Joker.. did you disconnect your throttle body when you installed your plenum? Or did you leave it connected? I may go ahead and go with the liquid stuff.. I just hate the sticky crap..

Actually the 2 gasket thing is what was recommended by Crawford.

Tito. Yeah my Autoengunity IS supposed to be able to do the idle resets etc.. I haven't personally tried it though.

I disconnected the wire harness but I did not unbolt the thing from plenum.

Yea, this is an old style plenum, which requires 2.. but i have 3 now

Jeff, how about we experiment and learn how to use that thing ?

If I have time, I'll fire it up and see how easy it is to do.

It will reset the ECU

and when you fire it up after the reset, throttle will be adjusted by newly reset ECU

you got to get rid of the gaskets man.

I would use one with liquid gasket on both sides of it.

They suggest to use two gaskets prolly cuz of the length of the bolts or something.

Cuz with a spacer you get a gasket on both sides of the spacer. So with a plenum you prolly get same length bolts as with a spacer and that is why they suggest two gaskets.

I don't see another reason why would the suggest two gaskets.

Actually Crawford stacked as many as 12 gaskets to make their own ghetto spacer at one time. But it wouldn't hurt to use some gasket sealer.

I'm pretty sure I was leaking at the 2 long center bolts.. that plastic washer was bent due to me over torquing it. so i placed a metal washer on top of that...

The center bolt leak should be very easy. Just need two more nylon washers. Available probably anywhere.
