total capacity is like 10 qts or so. But the replacement depends on what you are doing. A simple drain/flush is approx 4-5 qts or so. So if I do it, I plan on drain/fill every 15-20k or so. You won't get 10 qts out unless you remove the valve body at least.

BTW do you have your level stick included w/ your car? I only have a stupid cap

Sucks. I hear you can order the whole dipstick from a dealer. If you don't have this, then you need to carefully measure what comes out and replace the exact amount back. Assuming the original amount is right

I'll call up Drewer, I'm sure he's already done this, he's at over 100k and does all his maintance. He may have a dipstick already that he wouldnt mind lending

if you let it drain until it no longer drips, 3 1/2 to 4 qts. only if you plan on pulling the trans and torque converter out will you need 10qts, and only a few of the 03s didn't come with dipsticks. pull out the 10mm and make sure you have a dipstick.
