car seat in a coupe

We all know it's a doable task. Don't say trade in for a sedan. Not over my dead body. I was wondering if someone here is actually driving their G with child seat...in a daily basis. Do you find enough room for the stroller in the trunk? Actual pic will be great.

I do this with my 06 coupe. Not sure about the other years but its not too bad, my passenger seat actually has a button on the back to move it up automatically which is a nice feature. I've had this car since my daughter was 1 and was something I seriously considered prior to buying it. Kind of a pain to install but once its in, its good.

I've only put an umbrella stroller in my car, doubt if those big double wheel ones fit in the g trunk (but I've never actually tried).

I have had a car seat for the 3 years I've had my car. It is fine. It isn't like with a sedan, but it is doable.

My soon-to-be three year old loves his daddy's car. I have an 06 Coupe and I just put a towel between his car seat and my seat to help protect the seats. It fits snug and he watches the nav screen the whole time. A small stroller will fit in the trunk without problems. Don't trade it in! He even loves pushing the button to make the "choo choo train" (his words, actually the seat) slide forward automatically. Sorry but I don't have pics yet.

Yes the Graco Metrolite- this the only one from what I understand. It fits in my trunk. If you can believe it is actually called the

Graco MetroLite LXI Stroller in G collection

I can't make this stuff up.

HA That's hilarious. My three year old also loves dads "Race Car". He has to open the rear cup holder everytime he gets in and makes sure to yell "STOP" at the passenger seat when it is coming back because he thinks it will squish him.

DON'T SELL THE COUPE! You will be fine.

I've got two booster seats back there...have had 'em in for a few years now. The kids love my car, but they do wish it was convertible...

Rear facing infant car seat is ridiculous in my G... When my baby is bigger will try booster seat though. As for the stroller fitting in the trunk, it is out of ? for my evenflow city stroller. My bigger jogging stroller fits fine though since those wheels come off.

LOL. I suppose it would!

For the record, I personally would rather have the rigid body structure of the coupe - the moonroof is enough for me.

The Chicco Trevi Extreme stroller will fit in the trunk - barely.

Car seat and base fit nicely in the back seat. A little difficult to attach the base with the LATCH straps (angle was tricky) but not too hard to do. I modified a seat cover to protect the back from, errr, emisions shall we say.

Also strung a piece of string between the coat hangers and hung a few toys from it.

Make sure to get something to block the sun from the rear window and the little side window.

Oh - the Chipmunks sound great from the stock stereo system!!
