I just got a price for a 6MT with the premium package, the one with the bose, moonroof and dual climate conrol for 35,300 otd. I'm in Hawaii so they are the only dealership on this island.

 

meaning with tax, title, etc? you're on an ISLAND. I'm amazed they are offering any kind of discount at all. Not like you can go somewhere else to get it.

i think you better take that deal.....if they still have it when you go back.

how much did you pick yours up for? Yeah the 35,300 includes tax, license and all other fees.

 

I think you're stuck with a "take it or leave it" situation. If they're the only dealershop in HI, then they pretty much can charge whatever they want.

If you're wondering how your deal compares to people back here on the continent. I've seen better, but it's due to there being more competition, not your negotiating ability.

I'm not too familar with HI taxes, etc. What the price you're looking at before taxes, etc ?

not too sure about the price before taxes but he showed me that the tax and license came out to around 1700. I can still go back in a couple of days and he'll give me that deal but I just wanted to know if it was in fact a good deal. This dealership has no markups at all.

I think the last time that I filled up it was around $2.35 a gallon here on Oahu but I know for a fact that on Maui its over $3.00 for premium.

in the U.S. we are spoiled. on a previous thread, someone posted a link of state gas taxes and NJ was i think 2nd lowest.
