I am thinking of putting a Bra on my coupe. I cannot afford a clearbra at the moment so I was considering the black bras that look like leather.I basically wanted to get the pros and cons and also maintenance tips of using these bras. I would also like to know how often should they be taken off the ride to prevent uneven paint wear.

they are too much trouble in my opinion. Way back in the day I had a 87' integra and had a black bra. It was hastles to put on, had to take it off in the rain, could only install it if the car was clean (since dirt would scratch the paint if the bra rubbed on it), didn't look too great.... After about 3 months I stopped using it, that was a waste of money. My suggestion would be to just use your credit card and get the clear bra right now if you really want it. You want to put it on the car as soon as you get it before you get any chips in the paint because the chips will show through the bra and look like a air bubble since it is depressed a little.

 

I bought a Colgan bra from strictlyz. I only use it on trips but it takes less than 5 minutes to put on and take off. I had a bra on my previous car and used it daily. Before I washed my car I would wipe it down then remove it and wash the entire car.

I have a "like" leather bra that I got from one of our sponcers.

I have mixed reviews, I only put it on if I had long trips. It sucks to put on, easy to take off. My car's black and it doesn't look too bad on. If your not going the clear bra route I'd still suggest it, though.
