Re: New York Auto Show...
yo why is Infiniti changing the G35 so early?? For the 2005 model, will this car have been out for 3 years already? I can't believe I'm gonna be driving around an older car only like one year into my lease (of 3 years). =(

Just unfounded rumors. I bet there will be no major change. The car is still selling like crazy.

Re: New York Auto Show...
i htink redesign to interior might just happen, because Inifiniti pays close attention to what the consumer had to say and complaint about their product and they put it all together to find a resolution to it.
i guess we will just ahve to wait and seeeeeee

I don't know why people think that just because a car is selling like crazy that they likely won't make any big changes. There's always room for improvement in the interior and if Infiniti makes those changes, people would only be more willing to buy their cars. At least that's what I think.
Majority of car buyers don't even know anything about rumors of interior changes and are just as likely to buy the 04 model regardless. Also, some people don't have the patience to wait that long. I personally don't think it would change the amount of cars they're selling.

Based upon the product cycle Nissan has stepped up to, while it's possible they would revamp the interior, I'll be surrprised. How many years for the Altima? Return on investment... As we have read elsewhere on the forums, g35s and FX are selling like hotcakes; M and Q, hmmm, not so much. Q can probably wait, but the M will get the attention this year, I'm willing to bet. And I would guess that the M interior may guide the design direction for the next G interior, which I'm betting will show up in '06. Fuga got mixed reviews at it's releases earlier this year. New York will be a big test to see if the revamp got it right yet, or if they need to go back and do some more tweaking. Barrel Stave grill, I think is to be a brand identifier, vert stack lights may join, and I'm figuring there will be a similar *** end to the G's, which is very unique and fresh. Harder character lines high on the belt line perhaps, absence of door strip (like the coupe), and I'll be surprised if they show up with 2 colours on one car like they did in Japan (roof strips). We'll soon see. As for the website, don't confuse the interior of one vehicle with another just because images are in a slideshow.
