Not necessarily. It depends on his location. I've seen G35's go for $13k in California, but in Chicago, you'll be lucky to find one in good condition under $16k.

 

Well yeah, but thats why you have to expand your search, up to 300miles away if you have to. In my city the 05 G coupes were selling for upwards of $21k. I had to go to damn North Carolina to get a decent deal.

 

Amen to this! I had to go clear down to Arizona to get a good deal. All the Gs around here (worth a damn) were all in the upper 20s and that was for 06s. (oh and im talking from dealerships, you can still find 03-05 from private sellers on sites like craigslist for fairly cheap)

I did not think I got that great of a deal.

IN 2005 I bought a 2003.5 6mt sedan with 38K on it for $18,500 in Columbia SC. Now that was a sick deal.

 

i got an awesome deal. Paid 18,700.00 for an 05 6mt w/ navigation... silver with all black interior, and only 27,000 miles. Economy was bad 3 months ago, so I got the better end of the deal.

 

You're about right as I have the same car, with Navi and I paid 14,500

 

wanna trade? lol. i paid the same for an 06 with 60k miles.
