shiiiit, it's that's an auto that's pretty good- almost 300hp and 290tq (assuming 30% drivetrain loss)

Re: 350z stock dyno sheet
okie, then being generous and giving it a 20% drivetrain loss its still falling waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay short of their claimed hp

Re: 350z stock dyno sheet
I could be mistaken but I believe on the 6speed G35C 5th gear is the 1:1 ratio not 3rd or 4th. To get accurate numbers I think you would have to dyno in 5th gear on the manuals and 4th gear on the 5speed autos.
Re: 350z stock dyno sheet
Not knowing much about Dynos, wouldn't having the "wrong" gear just move the graph left or right? It seems to me that the horsepower and torque are independent of which gear you happen to be in...???

I havent seen that one on there, but if you look around there are many dyno sheets of stock 350s pulling around 245 at the wheels. theres also a 350Z dyno day in San Jose on the 8th in the morning before your G35 meet, anyone interested drop me a line!

Re: 350z stock dyno sheet
I don't know if he knew what he was taking about, but my salesman claims that AMG was considering some work on the G35 Coupe and pulled a stock engine that dyno tested at 304HP. He claimed that this was due to the larger exhaust capacity of the G over the Z giving it a better horsepower rating than published. Has anyone else heard this story?
Re: 350z stock dyno sheet
Just used a Dynojet on my G35C Auto:
221hp and 225 Torque.
I think the Z 6-speed would have quite a bit more. Aproximately 22% parasitic loss from the auto (all things being equal). The operators of the Dyno pulled up Mustang GT's with the same numbers. Not too shabby for a 6!

Re: 350z stock dyno sheet
those are nice numbers, albiet lower than what they claim, heh.
a gt must have been dynoing higher in the torque though
so being nice and giving the auto a 23(
)% drivetrain loss, that brings it to about 272hp, 275tq.
