Long story short- Today coming home from work I hear a pop from the engine area followed by the most awful scraping noise I have ever heard. I got to a safe spot and looked under the front to find that the front row of screws holding the plastic were either missing or had the plastic ripped from them and the air had bent it back and was grinding on the road. I just got my oil changed Saturday.... coincidence? maybe... I guess.

Anyway, the plastic is torn up. I had to take the main piece protecting the radiator and such off. Passenger side wheel well is fine but driver's side is also severely damaged.

Can someone please tell me what the part names for these are as I really want to get them replaced asap. I'll call the dealership tomorrow but was hoping to just bypass them all together as I'm sure they will attempt to rip me off.

Any help would be great.

sucks. i hit a damn raccoon last night and it messed my front bumper up and torn my plastic off the bottom... i somehow fixed it today though and only have 2 screws missing or not repairable.... ebay had one 4 $40 bucks btw

 

whoever changed your oil probably didnt put it back right..

 

Chech this site out. It should have OEM parts for the G. I think I found what you're looking for (2nd link). It is probably the engine dust cover. I ripped mine out the first month I had the car by running over a 4 x 4.
