Just thought I'd ask. My friends have these cars and im just wondering how the g35 stacks up against each of them. Im still in my break in period so im not about to go race them yet!!.....( i said yet)..hehe

The answer is...It depends! There's only one way to find out - race them!

Driver competence is worth than a few extra hp anytime you race. People ask me what the best mod is and I always reply - 3 days at Skip Barber!

If you have a 6MT and your friends can't drive worth poop you're in good shape. If any of these cars is driven my Michael Schumacher Jr (except for maybe the N/A Supra...don't know how fast it is) I'd put my $$ on the other car!

I'm not so sure. My cousin has a '98 M3 and having driven it many times I'd say it's down to the driver. Just so you know, when it was bone stock he trapped 100mph in the 1/4 mile 4 times in a row. I saw it in person! Times were a consistent 14.1-14.2. It's equal to a 6MT.

 

The US spec E36 M3's and our coupes are a good match for each other in a lot of aspects.

Solo2 has updated their classifications to include the G35. The coupe is class B (along with the E36 M3), and the Sedan is in class D (along with the 330i).
