Question Proper Launch Technique. Noob

hey guys, jw what is the best launch technique in an 05 6mt rev up? i lose to my freinds 05 stang GT every time from a dig, idk but im stock and he has intake and axleback. Is it me or just meant to be with this matchup? any help is appreciated!!

I have used search and didnt get conclusive enough answers to be PERSONALLY satisfied, plus i have unique car-specific questions as to the stang

thanks gentlemen

ya, unfortunately they are a bit faster than our cars stock. Intake exhaust makes difference on those V8s so the only chance u have is just to hold the RPMS at 3k and then semi feather the clutch untill u get full grip. If u get a jump on him u might have a chance of beating him.

the key is to not get the RPMs come down no matter what. If u are going to burn rubber till 6k then u rather do that then let off the gas.

well to sum it up, if ur not a track junkie then coilovers are pointless unless u want to mess around with the ride height. For daily fun springs and sways are more than enough. Good luck with ur decision.
