Ducati actually posted here a few days ago. For anyone who missed it, here it is: Ducati's reply to a thread

I personally do not believe that his "girlfriend" was really who she claimed to be, but rather Ducati himself. Think of it, do you really believe he would send his "girlfriend" to create a new profile on this site just to post a reply on a public forum? If it was really his girlfriend, she would have sent a private email to MaevRok explaining him the situation in privately. Another thing is: let's say he is really out of the country.... so what... there is internet outside this country as well.... he could have easily sent an email from anywhere in the world explaining the situation.
The only thing I can think of that would not hold Ducati responsible, is that something bad had happened to him (accident, hospitalization etc.), which I hope did not.

For MaevRok's sake, I really hope you get either your money or grill back. If I were you, I wouldn't wait any longer (you waited enough) and go to the authorities.

 

Which post are you referencing? I think you guys are reaching for air. Obviuosly something terrible has happened - I am sure we will find out soon.

That post is two months old, so sorry but still no sign of ducatiguy. I wonder if he's read this thread at all recently, or if something really did happen....Oh well thats the question on all of our minds, and it's starting to seem in this case, time won't tell. You have a phone number though, why not a road trip?

So I did some researching of my own and found three Jonathan Koch's in the state of NY. All of which are NOT him. This isn't looking good.
