I have an 05 coupe dropped on 20s and there are many of us here. However if you are planning on selling the car I recommend not doing any work to it because you will be throwing away your money. After market upgrades do not increase the valus of a vehicle.

Delion,

Yea i know what you mean about throwing the money away, thats why i was only thinking about some 20s and leaving the bumpers stock. But i think it might look funny with the stock 03 bumper?

I think a well thought out wheel/tire application with a nice drop definitely compliments the G with a stock bumper. I thought of this situation when I recently upgraded my coupe ('05) and I stayed with an OEM bumper. Even though I went to the '06 sport bumper, I've seen many stock '03-'05 bumpers with 20's that look tight.

Do it! You will love the look of your car with 20's and a drop, period. Look up some of the advertised wheel applications on this forum from Status, there are at least a few with the exact situation you're in. Oh, and most people would probably agree that a stock '03-'05 bumper with a lip is also super nice! Good luck!

I went through 3 sets of rims and 3 sets of springs, dropped them every time. Settled with 20s now lowered on Tanabe NF210s 1.0 F and 0.6 R, Perfect!

Thanks for the compliment. The only thing about Mayas and most here will agree with me that they are all show and no go. They are a very heavy wheel especially being 20's so they will slow you down a bit. But I love the look of them so I don't mind the heaviness until I go FI. Just my 2 cents on them.

What I meant was if you are going to sell in 6 months why spend the money on it? Unless you are planning on buying another G or a 350z that you can put those same wheels on. If not you will loose when you try to sell those wheels..and dont plan on selling the car with the wheels on there because with or without the wheels on the car they wont increase the value.
