Black is really impressive on the G35. I love the way black accents the titanium color of the 18-inch wheels and the chrome on the grill and the tail pipes. With a few coats of Zaino, my wife's black G gets plenty of compliments.

i love black cars... in my humble opinion, black cars are pretty much the best looking cars. ferrari, lambo or a benz? always a black. g35 coupe? gotta be black. i had two other black cars before the g35c... a '90 sw20 mr2 and a '00 5sfe camry both in black. however, both cars never had such paint problems as the infiniti.
the g35c has gotten MANY MANY chips with tons of swirl marks. the car is basically been beaten out on the road... i've bought many products just to remove such swirl marks! 3m buffing compound, scratch-x, zymol blue wax, meguire's gold wax and even this nice paint polish from the LA autoshow... it's the paint that's the problem, and i am really considering having to paint the whole car with deep heavy coats with a lusterous clearcoat..
otherwise... the car is immaculate as black.

As much as I love black, I will never own a black vehicle again. I did learn from my mistake a few years back. I was waxing my entire vehicle every day, and starting to go insane.... must hide swirlmarks. Damn ! Remembering what a p.i.t.a. it was is like Vietnam shellshock.

black is pretty pissing at times, especially where i live since it rains a lot and i dont get a chance to wash it often...i was debating between black or white at first, but black just looks so much more slick. i still like white a lot though....anyone thinkin of puttin a coat of metallic on ur blacks?? i think that would look pretty dope...

I have a DG and I'm so happy I do....Back in 1998 I purchased a brand new black Dodge Avenger ES. The swirl marks on black cars will drive you crazy. DO NOT get black unless you have the time to do the upkeep. Not only does my DG have minimum swirls but it hides dirt like crazy. IF YOU DO NOT HAVE A GARAGE...Definatly don't get black. This is just my opinion but a lot of guys on this board have been there before and we're not planning on going back.

Really wanted a twilight blue coupe, but got such a deal on my black one I couldn't pass it up. No regrets at all. Going to have clear bra put on soon, I have a garage, and park it far from other cars. With that, its stayed quite strait and clean :-)

I love the Black. I got a Porter Cable Orbital to deal with swirls, and Zaino's too. Nothing beats how the Black looks clean.
During the winter it's tough, but once the weather breaks I'll wash weekly.
I wasn't such a priss about it until I got this car.

I Love my black coupe...but its a pain to keep it clean..
i live in a big city and and don't have garage..so some times i wish i didn't have black...every lil scratch n swirl mark is soo visible in the sun.
The car gets dirty an hr after i wash it...
no regrets tough...i'll probably buy another one again

Always wanted a black sports coupe. Got a black G35c. Absolutely no regrets. And I live in Seattle where it rains 60% of the time. On the other hand, since I know it's gonna rain, I don't feel bad that I don't wash it weekly. But I do wash it more often than I wash my Pathfinder :P
