My 2006 6MT Headlight Recall and OC status

So I'm taking the G in Monday morning to have the headlight recall performed. While I'm there I'm going to have them start the Oil Consumption test. I bought the car one month ago and changed the oil that weekend. I have driven it appx 2000 miles (70 miles round trip to work!) and I have been watching the oil like a hawk and it has definately consumed some oil. I'm going to ask the dealership how much oil came out when they change it. I still love my G though, there isn't another car <$50k that I would trade if for right now.

NOTE: To all the prospective G buyers, don't let this OC problem scare you. Just get a car that is still under warranty and everything should be ok. All cars have issues, some more than others though.

Hypothetically speaking of course, if one were to have an MREV2 and spacer on order should said car owner install these items during the OC test?

I removed the said prior to my OC testing to avoid any issues. Good luck to you with your OC testing.

It's tough having the parts in the garage just waiting to go on! But, I do need to get this OC testing done ASAP. Currently all that is on the car is an upper intake tube and drop in K&N filter.
