My car has mood swings

Somedays my car feels so sluggish and the handling is not as nice and other days the car pulls hard and the handling is tighter. Its so weird. Anybody know whats up?

I'll try my best @ a serious reply.

If it's wavering on more of a weekly basis or even daily think about/check the following:

1.) The gas stations you go to - Cheap gas is exactly that.

2.) Gas cap tightened down all the way until it makes that famous "snap, snap, snap" sound...

3.) Try putting some gas additive to clean out any water that might be lingering in the tank/lines

4.) Air Temp outside in your area flux much - All of us know colder air means a slight bit more power.

Other than that, you got me bro....

I own a 2003 6MT and can tell you that I can rev my engine and play with the clutch to were it can "sound" like I'm hauling @ss, but I'm just barely getting it along. Other times (when I'm not playing around or tired), I get on the gas good and let the clutch out properly (not letting my foot 'hang around' too much and fully engaging the clutch - OUT) and the car takes off like someone lite a fire under her!

Just some thoughts.

Hope this helps.

Thanks Guys!

I always fill up from Chevron so i dont think its the gas. I think the outside temp would probally have the most effect.

Thumbs up

^ Thanks man, no problems! SO many here have helped me out. I know we are a "light hearted" group here and like to joke around a good bit, but I hate to see someone asking for advise and just getting on-liners in return. LOL

^ That's funny that you mentioned this, b/c my old car used to feel the exact same way. The 350GT has tons more power than that car, so I can't tell after a wash, but I used to say that my old car really appreciated being cleaned, b/c it would have just a slight bit more "jump" in her step.

Thanks Guys!
