Question about 2004 G35C

Just wondering if they came with dual climate control standard? I was reading a post here and it said with the premium package you get the dual climate control. My car has every other option except the dual climate control and I was wondering if it should.

It probably should...but that does not mean it will. I always thought the climate control in our G's were "wannabe" dual climate controls anyways. Mine has never operated independtly from the other, but it appears as though they should.

Prem pack has it and it works great... I use it mostly when its cold; my gal always wants it very warm on her side but I like it to be much cooler and it works whereas in her car I just burn up...

Does your car have aftermarket stereo/deck? often times when they use the stand alone ac controllers? they dont put dual climate control button back on.

I think I am going to call the place where I bought it from and ask them about it. I know that in the original pictures I saw online, the car had an after market stereo in it so I am just wondering if they put the stock one back in and just did not get the right buttons when they did so. (if that makes any sense) My car does have to premium package so I am thinking it probably should.

Sounds like it should... see if they'll ensure that everything was correctly rewired if the stock stereo unit was reinstalled. Good luck!

My 03 has it so I doubt if they would drop it from the 04.

Well I just got a call back from the Infiniti dealer and they are basically saying that the reason my steering wheel controls do not work is because they were modified when the aftermarket stereo was installed. He also said that my car SHOULD in fact have dual-climate control.

He then went on to explain that this was not covered under warranty and that I would have to pay for them to fix the wires.

He said that it would cost $260 to fix the wiring and $1040 to replace the stereo and give me back my dual climate control. I told him that there was no way I was going to pay that much to have it done, if anything else, I will try to solder on the button like everyone on here is saying. He then said that he will do the work for the steering wheel controls for 1/2 the cost for me. I am still waiting on a call back from the original place I bought the car from to see what they are going to do about the whole situation as it is mostly their fault and they should be footing the bill for this. We shall see what happens.
