considering getting a G[need help]

hei guys, as u guys prolly know by my posts, im in the market for a G, the thing is i keep finding G35's that are 2004 with around 40K miles, and that arises some doubt in my mind, should i be worried that the 2004 G's with that many miles, excluding other details, has been driven a lot? i know its like 10-15K miles per year, but uhm, 40/10=4, and so thats around there, ah, ill stop confusing u guys, hope u guys know wut i mean, so need some help, figuring this out

an 04 with 40,000 miles is normal...40,000 miles is not that much on a car of that year.

Yeah 40,000 miles on a 2004 is not many miles at all. Thats just 10,000 miles per year. I just bought my 2003 g35 with 57,000 miles a month ago and so far no problems at all.

Number of miles isn't what you worry about.

I'd rather have a 40,000 mile highway car than a 20,000 mile car that was driven by speed racer.

Agree GW. But it's so hard not to drive the G without at least one or 2 races.

your only doing half the math ....

60/15=4 ... so a 40,000 would actually be more towards the low end

hehe, aint that the truth. I've seen soccer mom's haulin a$$ in the G35 sedans and M35's. Oddly, most the women in coupes (that I've seen) seem alot more reserved.

i would try to go for an 05 if you can, they cleaned up the interior a bit and made some SWEET exterior look mods... they look way cleaner IMO, but are less of a "project car" if you were planning on modding heavily. Go 04 if you mod, 05 if not.

Color matched sills, single crease hood, different tails, seven spoke wheels, different front cap, standard HID...

What else? I missed a couple I'm sure.

Occasional flogging is different than constant abuse..

You get the point I was trying to make, stop being non-supportive.

40k miles on an Infiniti is nothing to worry about in most cases.
