Market Value on our Coupes...???

I've been trying to seriously sell my coupe since mid January and can't figure out how to price it. I started out asking $26,999 thinking that it was a fair price for an 2005 6-speed BS coupe with all options except nav. Now, I'm seeing coupe values drop like crazy. I just heard a guy get a deal on a 2006 G35 6-spd coupe, 25k miles for $23900 (might not be true??)...

I have now dropped my price to $23999 and thought that I am rock bottom. Whats going on??? The G37S is ugly and no faster than the first gen so I'm thinking its the economy pushing values down???

These cars are $39,000 new. I'd be pissed if i just bought an 2007 for that amount of money. One drive out off of the showroom floor and you are maaaaaybee going to get $26k.

Thoughts???

The market for gass guzzling coupes with limited cargo space is going down a bit, that's for sure. If gas hits $5 in the next year we'll see how many people hold on to them. Market is dropping here in AZ some, to my benefit I hope though...

How so. I just bought an 06 6mt diamond graphite with black interior. 12.5K miles on it for less than 26 OTD.

Just have to be patient and carry cash.

When I bought my G35 I had about 6 or so that I was really looking at. All were fully loaded 06 6MT's (NAV, spoiler, Aero kit....) and all under 25k miles. One was a red G35 that was going for right around $25k. Obviously I drove that one first. When I drove it I noticed that it had been beat up some. The buttons were worn, leather was worn, and more importantly the alignment was extremely off! The steering wheel had to be turned appx 30° to the right just to get the car to go straight. My point is the condition of the car goes a long way. It's not just our cars that are depreciating, it's everything.

I was quoted for my fully loaded '04 6mt with 52k miles, nav and xm was $19k if I wanted to trade it in at the dealer.
