I like to keep it simple. Drop and rims. Keep the factory look but add an aggressive stance.

there's a point where mostly everyone on this board goes through it. Just gotta use some common sense and know when to stop and you should be alright.

Either that, or set a goal on where you want your car to be and see how much that'll be and see if you're financially ready or prepare(save) for it.

I mod mainly because I can't find the perfect car in my budget... and I definitely aren't making enough to be able to afford a Ferrari. I like to drive and will cruise into the mountains every now and then, and every so often to the tracks for a little fun. But since most cars have characteristics that I don't like, I'll mod it to suit me. And from there, instead of just changing things out just because, I'll change parts out for aftermarket performance parts when the time comes to replace it.

I wish I had the money to mod my G for the track and shows... but I don’t have money so I just have little mods just to be a little different... its weird iv done more "looks" mods then "performance" mods even though I take my G to the drag strip every weekend...

Maybe when im older ill go all out...

Thanks for the opinions...wish I knew how to do the poll thing so I could see how many do track, shows and just cause. I think in the long run I will just make a list of things I wont do and go from there. Im going for a certain look and I havent gotten there yet but hopefully by the end of summer I will be straight.

It's a hobby/passion for me. I can't leave anything stock.

My initial plans were to leave it stock when I first bought the car. I figured this was already a nicely designed car from the factory. Then I accidentally found out about these car forums and was quickly bitten by the mod bug.

My mods are simple: wheels, suspension, intake & exhaust, and slight cosmetic features (grille, front lip, splash guards, JDM badging). But I wanted to stick to quality JDM tuner components. Very happy now. Car is unique with some JDM touches. I mod for me and to further heighten my driving experiences. I don't go to the track, nor enter shows because of too few modifications to be classified as any "show car" status. But just to slightly enhance the performance aspect of the car while maintaining the clean look. Getting compliments are a bonus.

I'm a just because person like you too. My car is going for a fully built motor and twin turbos this summer. Why? Because I want a turbo G that's fast as hell. As far as shows, maybe one day but its not a priority.
